Natchitoches Parish (French: Paroisse des Natchitoches) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. 2016 U.S. Census population: 39,162. The parish seat is Natchitoches.

History
Named for: Natchitoches Native Americans. Natchitoches Parish was created by the act of April 10, 1805 that divided the Territory of Orleans into 12 parishes, including Orleans, Iberville, Rapides and Natchitoches.
